Is anyone else sick to death of the news lately? I mean the fact that the words Barrack Obama seem to be used about 4 to 1 over any others?
I listened to John Kerry ( I cannot believe i voted for that jerk!) on Sunday morning trying ever so valiantly to rescue the golden one’s reputation on the little matter of “refining” his positions on Iraq! Ha! I swear every other word out of his mouth was Barrack Obama. Barrack Obama this and Barrack Obama that and Barrack Obama, Barrack Obama, Barrack Obama! ….And Barrack….. well you get the idea. It’s a common thread running through almost all political commentary on any channel or news outlet these days! AND it is making me ill!
It reminds me of a slightly, ok really stupid movie. The one with the marrionettes? Team America World Police a completely silly if admittedly stupid movie that is worth watching for the songs (Freedom Costs A Buck O’ Five or the theme song Team America F*** Yeah! come to mind as some of the silliest movie songs ever!) and the puppet sex if nothing else! I won’t go into detail on that one. Not this early! Wouldn’t do that to anybody but it is a real hoot if you have nothing else to do for a couple of hours.
Anyway there is a scene in the movie where they send the marrionette named Gary who is an actor that has been recruited by the team to “act” in negotiations with terrorists and to use those “skills” to spy on said terrorists. He goes in to the terrorist’s hang out, a bar, and everyone talks like this:
“Dirka, dirka, dirkastan! Dirka, dirka! Jihad!” Yes, I am sorry to say that is really the dialogue. I told you it was a stupid movie. The point is the news sounds remarkably similar these days! Don’t you think? Opps! I forgot to say “Barrack Obama, Barrack, Barrack, Barrack! Change! Hope! Barrack Obama!” Sorry! Couldn’t resist! Don’t puke folks! It’s only a morning joke! At least on my channel it’s a joke unfortunately it’s an infuriating reality in the media today!
My friends on http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net/discussion/ are always telling me to turn it off! I know, I know but I LIKE yelling at my TV! Especially in the morning when I’m waiting for my coffee to kick in and they are making me ill with their obvious obsession with all things Obama!
Maybe we should do a word count during the newscast and count how many times they actually repeat the idiot’s name during one 30 minute show. Any bets on the numbers??
