Citizen Wells has a new post with some very revealing information about the vetting process where it concerns elected officials.
We have received a lot of question asking “How did Obama get this far, he must have had background checks as he is a U.S. Senator.”
However, this is inaccurate according to Special Agent-in-Charge: C. Frank Figliuzzi of the Cleveland FBI. Background checks are not performed on those elected, once elected they work for Congress and are handed a secret clearance. See below:
This is a conversation between the Special Agent-in-Charge: C. Frank Figliuzzi of the Cleveland FBI and Mike Trivisonno on the Mike Trivisonno Show, WTAM 1100, 7/02/08, Hr. 2.
Caller – Do they perform background checks on candidates and fellows who are in Congress and the Senate and perhaps potential presidential candidates?.
FBI – The short answer is no, no we don’t, but they’re given top secret clearances because they’re members of Congress, or Senators, or even higher ranking officials.
Host – Time out. There are no background checks from the FBI on the people that lead the country, the United States of America?.
FBI – Let me emphasize, elected officials. This is a democracy, the people have elected an official to represent them in Washington, and we do not routinely run background checks on those people.
Host – Even people running for president of the United States of America?.
FBI – That’s correct.
Host – That’s a little weird
FBI – Well, its part of democracy, its part of what the American people want, they want to be able to vote for somebody to represent them in Washington and they don’t want us to get in the way of that and we have no predilection to get in the way of that.
Host – Yeah, but what if they’re voting for a bad person and they don’t know that person is bad, do you follow me?. I’m saying, if the guy’s got a background and maybe he’s involved with some people that he shouldn’t be involved with, shouldn’t we know that as voters?.
FBI – Well, I think you’d agree that the American political process is about as rigorous as you’ll ever see and if there’s dirt back there, probably the opponent is gonna get it out probably before anyone else will.
Host – Now I know why you’re the head of the FBI, they’re good, aren’t they?.”

Now isn’t that an interesting little tidbit? Nobody does background checks or vetting in an official capacity on elected officials even candidates for President of the United States!
They figure it’s the discretion of the voters and that political campaigns will expose and vet candidates potential problems. In other words the people voted for them it’s up to them to make sure of who and what they really are.
So all the people out there saying the Birth Certificate thing is a non issue because he would have been checked out before running I guess that’s not the case at all. I suppose next they will “justify” why Obama should not have to show proof that he’s eligible for the job.
McCain faced similar questions and had at least the consideration for his supporters, the country and his own reputation to show proof and put the matter to rest. Will Obama do the same? Or will he continue to show us the fake COLB on his website even though it’s been examined and shown to be a forgery. Yet another crime that is going unpunished and “justified”!

this only works if you have an honest media that is interested in getting the facts to the public. What we have in our corrupt system is a media that will not mention issues or scandals or even relatively minor negative things about their favored candidate while repeating, printing and passing on lies, more lies and damn lies about those they don’t favor.
So what we now have is a country where someone has to pass a background check to be a Security Guard but the frigging President of the United States does not?

Exactly Marge and GRL! The cheating and the coolusion of the media have made the “vetting by political process” pretty much non existent this time around. And yes, people need to go through background checks to do lots of things but apparently it’s not considered important enough for elected officials.
I went though a security check years ago to be a janitor in a company that cleaned federal buildings. Apparently they had to know that the cleaning staff were not terrorists or spys but the president is a different story.
Actually I had to go through another background check to get my RE Brokers licence too but not BO!

You also have to go through an FBI background check when you join the military and another one if your job requires a security clearance. Now isn’t it ironic that the person who commands those forces doesn’t also have to go through the same?

no they do not verify anything as per the FBI and Factcheck.org is seriously biased and has ties to the Annenburg Challenge an organization tied with bill Ayers and barrack obama so i doubt their credibility and it is in the best interest of the country that Obama do the right thing and show the documents.otherwise we’ll know the truth is that he can’t.

In case anyone wants the truth the Birth Cirtificate that was put online, is the Real one. It was checked by the Sec. State of Hawaii and it is correct.
Also maybe you folks need to check out the Annenburg’s…you will not find a more reputable institution. Obama was never involved with ACORN…he was involved with Vote 2 years before ACORN took it over.
If you have questions about Obama…? why not go to his web site..check the facts of who Obama is under the “learn” tab. Why not check out the truth? Is it your contention because Fact Check will not agree with your facts you choose to believe they are Biased? Now does that seem balanced?

It has never been verified by any such person or authority other than the Annenburg Challenge owned Factcheck wich is heavily biased in his favor as he was on the board and was involved with William Ayers and this is NOT a reputable organization by any means. They funneled money to extremists like Farrakkan, Kahlidi and other very unsavory characters.
And YES he did work for ACORN. In fact he trained many of the workers back in the day. Not only that but he acted as their attourney on at least one very questionable lawsuit. He helped ACORN threaten lenders and intimidate them into making bad loans claiming that if they did not they were being racist. In other words to ACORN it matters not if your credit is good or if you have a job or can actually PAY THE LOAN BACK. They don’t consider those qualifications. In fact if a lender tried to deny loans based on those very sound reasons ACORN and the far left wing of the Dems now known as the Obamacrat Asshat Brigade will jump all over you claiming that the decision was based on racial inequality.

I just wanted to thank you for answering a question that i have wondered about for a long time. I am a republican but would not be upset at all if Hillary were about to become president. Obama just has too many unanswered questions in his background and his lack of judgment makes me feel very uncomfortable trusting him with national security. The thought that this individual would be trusted with the codes to our nukes and might invite Bill Ayers over to dinner, scares the hell out of me!!
I sent a letter, drafted a bit like a court proceeding in that all the evidence for one charge is grouped together so a determination can be made on that, then I went to another. That is on my website at:

Feel free to copy it and send it or refer to it. It gives the people enough information to determine if he is guilty of forgery of his COLB (Birth Certificate) and his SSS Registration. That makes it not so much a question of is he eligible, but did he commit a crime to hide and forge his documents? In addition, after all the hard work of lawsuits by other people, the fact that he spent over $800,00 to hide his identity witnesses against him that he certainly thinks he has something to hide. This should lead to a swift removal. Special things happened in the paper works that made it obvious he created the papers in 2008 and made it look like 1980 etc.

He may not have had to be investigated by the FBI, or by the FEC if he didn’t take public funding, but he still cannot legally apply knowing he is ineligible. Someone sent the California statute on that. He himself is responsible for his eligibility.
