A few words about justice and justification.

People can find a way to justify pretty much anything. The only requirement is the ability to momentarily (or in some cases permanently) suspend reality. It’s like a different facet of denial in that way.

Consider this, Al Capone, notorious mobster, murderer, breaker of the law, considered himself to be a misunderstood and persecuted individual who , in his own words, was a “great benefactor to the people”.

I guess he thought that his running of the gambling, prostitution and illegal liquor establishments was somehow a humanitarian effort. All those murders committed by him and at his request were obviously acts of “public service” and he should have gotten the keys to the city!

Apparently to Capone the law and it’s enforcers were unfairly and unjustly persecuting him because they expected him to obey the laws of the land and they intended to stop him and prosecute him for not doing so. I suppose every criminal in the prison system probably thinks the same way. It’s part of their make up. If they admitted to themselves, or anyone for that matter, that they were in the wrong they might be forced to really think about their actions and the repercussions of them. Thus to them they are innocent and wronged by the system.

The Justice system sees things quite differently indeed. If you break the law you will pay the price. Message: Don’t break the law and you won’t have a problem.

We’ve seen an awful lot of this in the last 19 months. It seems lots of law breaking has been “justified” and gone unpunished.

A prime example is the recent hacking into the personal email account of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. It’s old news to anybody who surfs the net and it’s starting to get some exposure on MSM. Her personal email account was hacked, password changed and screen shots of her emails, contact list, photos of her family and email addresses and cell phone numbers of her family were published on the web by the hacker.

I have heard time and again from Obama supporters that the hacker was supposedly justified because there were reports she might be using her personal email to hide work related things she doesn’t want the public to see. Bullshit! Even if that were the case it is for officials and law enforcement to find out not some snot-nosed college punk who proudly calls himself an Obamacrat.

We are not allowed to take the law into our own hands in this country for a reason. So even if the allegations were true (the hacker himself admitted there was nothing incriminating in the emails) it is not the “job” of non-professionals to break the law to find out.

I have also heard that Sarah Palin supposedly “deserved” it or that this should prove she is incapeable of being VP because her email was hacked. First off who deserves to have their privacy invaded? Second how in the hell is that her fault or does it prove that she is not up for the job? Someone broke the law and invaded her privacy but we’re told that this makes her unqualified?

So what about when Obama’s, Hillary’s and McCain’s passport info was accessed illegally?  (by people connected with the Obama campaign no less) Wouldn’t that make Obama unqualified too by those standards? I mean if it makes Palin unqualified how come Obama was just a “victim” when it happened to him? Answer: because according to Obama and the Obamacrats he is ALWAYS the victim in any circumstance. It’s just a given.

When ever there is any question they automatically give the points to their guy just like the RBC meeting in May when the DNC gave Obama the uncommitted delegates and then the gave him 4 delegates that Senator Clinton earned even though his name wasn’t even on the ballot. Yup! And they broke their own sunshine rules to do it with a secret vote during their 2 1/2 hour lunch break.

Oh but they were “justified” in doing so because, well, because they wanted Obama to win. We’re up to here with their “justification”.

This is far from the first time Obama and his supporters have broken the law. Hillary supporters have been hacked, threatened, had their blogs shut down, been kicked off of previously democratic web sites that are nothing more than Obama shills now and the list goes on and on. Alot of these activities are illegal but we’re told that the Bots are justified and if we didn’t have the sites there they wouldn’t be able to hack them. It’s our own fault according to these people because we won’t just shut up and go away.

So I guess in their view if you speak out against them or speak out for what is right you are standing in their way and according to them that is a crime. I have news for them it is not a crime to refuse to vote for someone. It is not a crime to speak out for what you beleive is right. In fact is the opposite. Speaking out against corruption and evil is a civil duty of the highest order!

Then we have the fact that the hacker in question turns out to be the 20 year old son of a Democratic Senator from Tennessee. According to one MSM source he says “he was just playing around” and there are supposedly no charges being filed? That’s what I heard on CBS last night anyway.

I don’t care if he was playing around or not it is a crime to access someone’s personal correspondence and it should be treated as such. Plus they said he was the son of a “prominent democrat” but failed to mention just how prominent. Just one more example of how Obama has the media in his pocket.

If this was my email account, or yours, or anybody else’s they would be steaming mad and rightly so. Why is it only a crime if it’s against Obama but not when it’s against his opponents? This kid should be prosecuted for breaking the law and the media should be honest about the fact this is a crime and who his father really is. We are tired of them protecting the politicians they want to protect and crucifying the ones they don’t.

Actually we are tired of the media as a whole period. They should just go find jobs as hot dog vendors or carnival workers and leave the news to real journalists with scruples and ethics.

What about the crime Obama committed by trying to stall the troops withdrawal from Iraq for his own political gain? It is a crime. It is a felony. He violated the Logan Act. It is treason.

Thanks to Shtuey at http://ohmyvalve.blogspot.com/ for the excellent video!

Not to mention the fact it’s about as phony and hypocritical as you can get to campaign on the whole “Stop the war and bring our troops home” all the while wheeling and dealing behind the scenes to manipulate the public.

I suppose IF we hear anything about it from the MSM it will be somehow “justified” too. I suppose Obama is “justifying” any deaths that occur because of the delays caused by his meddling as a sacrifice that must be made in order for him to gain control and therefore “save” us! Pfffft! Don’t even get me started on that one!

Every single one of the soldiers serving overseas is worth more than a hundred Obamas! Every single one of them is out there fighting to protect the rights Obama would bargain away at the drop of a hat and issue some lame “justification” afterwords. He is not worth the spit they shine their boots with!

On a lighter note I found this on http://harddriller.wordpress.com/2008/09/20/new-nickel-design/ while tag surfing!

It was just too funny not to steal!

Oh such sweet truth!

Nice! Real patriotic NOT! Here is the first of three articles that tell the truth about how Obama feels about Iraq and our troops there.

Obama Interferes In US-Iraq Agreement

In direct interference in US foreign policy and the execution of the war in Iraq, Barack Obama today told the Iraqi foreign minister, according to the New York Times’ Caucus blog report,

While the Bush administration would like to see an agreement reached before the summer’s political conventions, Mr. Obama said today that he opposed such a timetable.

“My concern is that the Bush administration, in a weakened state politically, ends up trying to rush an agreement that in some ways might be binding to the next administration, whether it’s my administration or Senator McCain’s administration,” Mr. Obama said.

According to Obama, “The foreign minister agreed that the next administration should not be bound by an agreement that’s currently made.”
What else could he say when confronted with such effrontery by someone not the president who might be.

The CBS reporton the phone conversation doesn’t think it’s significant enough to mention this part of their conversation, nor that regardless of the progress that’s been made Obama says he’s firm on withdrawing US troops quickly. Jenifer Rubin at Commentary’s Contentions blog, however, correctly sums it up: “Great Surge, Let’s Quit.”

The Washington Post’s editorial today says of the agreement,

It means that Iraq, a country with the world’s second largest oil reserves and a strategic linchpin of the Middle East, just might emerge from the last five years of war and turmoil as an American ally, even if its relations with Iran remain warm. So it’s hard to fathom why Democrats in Congress have joined Ayatollah Khamenei in denouncing the U.S.-Iraqi agreements even before they are written….

Ed Morrissey comments,

So why haven’t the Democrats shown more enthusiasm? They would have to admit that they were wrong about the surge, wrong about Maliki, and wrong to declare defeat fourteen months ago. Democrats from Barack Obama down have insisted that the US should abandon Iraq as a failed mission rather than adjust to better strategies. Had the Bush administration listened to them, Iran would already be in charge of Iraq through Moqtada al-Sadr.

Another example to add to the many that Barack Obama is a dangerous poseur.

Bruce Kesler | Jun. 16, 2008 | 4:52 PM

So not only did he meddle to try and influence the elections he used the troops that he claims he is so concerned about to do it! The media did know but said nothing. I see the pattern is not straying from the traditional Obama “whatever it takes to climb the ladder” mindset that we’ve all come to know so well.

O’s Tour de Farce  by Amir Taheri

Posted: 3:24 am
July 29, 2008

TERMED a “learning” trip, Sen. Barack Obama‘s eight- day tour of eight nations in the Middle East and Europe turned out to be little more than a series of photo ops to enhance his international credentials.

“He looked like a man in a hurry,” a source close to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said last week. “He was not interested in what we had to say.”

Still, many Iraqis liked Obama’s claim that the improved situation in Iraq owed to Iraqi efforts rather than the Gen. David Petraeus-led surge. In public and private comments, Obama tried to give the impression that the Iraqis would’ve achieved the same results even without the greater resources America has poured into the country since 2007.

In private, though, Iraqi officials admit that Obama’s analysis is “way off the mark.” Without the surge, the Sunni tribes wouldn’t have switched sides to help flush out al Qaeda. And the strong US military presence enabled the new Iraqi army to defeat Iran-backed Shiite militias in Basra and Baghdad.

Nevertheless, in public at least, no Iraqi politician wants to appear more appreciative of American sacrifices than the man who may become the next US president.

Iraqis were most surprised by Obama’s apparent readiness to throw away all the gains madein Iraq simply to prove that he’d been right in opposing the 2003 overthrow of Saddam Hussein. “He gave us the impression that the last thing he wanted was for Iraq to look anything like a success for the United States,” a senior Iraqi officialtold me. “As far as he is concerned, this is Bush’s war and must end in lack of success, if not actual defeat.”

Even so, Obama knows that most Americans believe they’re still at war with an enemy prepared to use terror against them. So he can’t do what his antiwar base wants – declare an end to the War on Terror and the start of a period of love and peace in which “citizens of the world” build bridges between civilizations.

That’s why Obama is trying to adopt Afghanistan as “his” war. He claims that Bush’s focus on Iraq has left Afghanistan an orphan in need of love and attention. Even though US military strategy is to enable America to fight two major wars simultaneously, Obama seems to believe that only one war is possible at a time.

But what does that mean practically?

Obama says he wants to shift two brigades (some of his advisers say two battalions) from Iraq to Afghanistan. But where did that magicalfigure come from? From NATO, which has been calling on its members to provide more troops since 2006.

NATO wants the added troops mainly to improve the position of its reserves in Afghanistan. The alliance doesn’t face an actual shortage of combat units – it’s merely facing a rotation schedule that obliges some units to stay in the field for up to six weeks longer than is normal for NATO armies.

Overall, NATO hopes that its members will have no difficulty providing the 5,000 more troops it needs for a “surge.” So there’s no need for the US to abandon Iraq in order to help Afghanistan.

The immediate effect of Obama’s plan to abandon Iraq and send more troops to Afghanistan is to ease pressure on other NATO members to make a greater contribution. Even in Paris, some critics think that President Nicolas Sarkozyshould postpone sending more troops until after the US presidential election. “If President Obamacan provide all the manpower needed in Afghanistan, there is no need for us to commit more troops,” said a Sarkozy security adviser.

Obama’s move would suit Sarkozy fine because he’s reducing the size of the French army and closing more than 80 garrisons. Other Europeans would also be pleased. German Chancellor Angela Merkelwill soon face a difficult general election in which her main rivals will be calling for an end to “the Afghan adventure.”

Today, with the sole exception of Spain (where the mildly anti-American Socialist Party is in power), pro-US parties govern Europe. These parties feel pressure from the Bush administration to translate their pro-American claims into actual support for the Afghanistan war effort. By promising to shoulder the burden, Obama is letting the European allies off the hook.

Obama doesn’t seem to have noticed the European scene’s subtleties. Despite his claim that he came to listen, he seems to have heard nothing of interest during his 10,000-mile trip.

Having announced his strategy before embarking on his “listening tour,” he couldn’t be expected to change his mind simply because facts on the ground offered a different picture.

In Paris, a friendly reporter asked the Illinois senator if there was anything that he’d heard or seen during his visit that might persuade him to alter anyaspect of his polices. Obama’s answer was clear: no.

Amir Taheri’s next book, “The Persian Night: Iran Under the Khomeinist Revolution,” is due out this fall.

So Obama saw the whole tour as a photo op. Not news. That he tried to interfere in foreign affairs for his own political gain? Big, game changing news. This article was from July, the previous one from June yet we haven’t really heard much about this until now. The media for the most part is beyond not doing their job they are now doing Obama’s job.

The latest again from the New York Post is by the same author and is dated today. Really informative.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/09152008/postopinion/opedcolumnists/obama_tried_to_stall_gis_iraq_withdrawal_129150.htm?page=0

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

“He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,” Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops – and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its “state of weakness and political confusion.”

“However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open.” Zebari says.

There’s more. Click the link to read the entire article.

The idea you might get here from reading these things about Senator Obama is that he really doesn’t care as much as he claims about the troops and getting them home. He cares about how he can spin this to favor him in the election. How refreshingly new and full of hope and change! (Sarcasm off sorry  couldn’t resist)

Mr. We need to Just admit defeat and bring our guys home decided he wants them to stay a bit longer because he doesn’t want the Republicans to look less lik the Devil if people know that they did at least one thing right. The surge that Obama did not support actually worked to some degree and the American officials are actually working with the Iraqis to get things under control and get our troops headed home. Remember how hard he fought to admit the surge actually worked? How about the NAFTA thing with Canada anybody remember that? How he denied it all and then had to admit that he did just what he said he would not do. Pander to the guys he was railing against just to make him look “good”.

That’s a joke. Nothing could make him look good to me. Everthing about him screams narcicistic, arrogant fraud. He is not above using anybody and anything to further his own career and adgenda.

Oh I forgot to mention that what Obama did by trying to interfere in the politics of a foriegn country without authorization from our government is illegal. It is against The Logan Act.

So yes by any other name it is still a stinky, fake, hypocritical rose just the same! (Sorry Shakesphere!)

You know I’ve been back and forth with this many times over the last year or so. Should I just change my registration to Independent or Unaffiliated? Or should I stay a Dem because the only way I can affect real change is from within? Many of my fellow Dems and Hillary Supporters have been agonizing over this for quite a while now. Some have already left the party and I, for one, consider it a great loss.

Many of us have been considering who to give our votes to as we know we will not be voting for Obama. Most of us have been subjected to ridicule, scorn, Internet flaming and even real threats, stalking and in some cases abuse. We’ve lost friendships and family over it or at the very least those relationships are strained.

I’ve had several friends who have tried to convince me “for my own good” of course that it doesn’t really matter what happened in the primaries that it’s over now and I should just move forward.

In my experience “moving forward” is not going to do anything other than condoning the fraudulent process that got us here and therefore rewarding and inviting more of the same. If they get away with it this time they will use more voter suppression tactics and threats and intimidation to subvert the process next time. You can count on it. If you give in to it you are feeding it and it will grow.

You do not fix a problem by ignoring it’s existence or by allowing it to go on unchecked.

I have other friends who say I just need to get over my anger. Hillary lost, she endorsed Obama end of story. He has a D beside his name what else do I need to know?

Did she really lose? Who won the popular vote? Who got the most votes of any primary candidate ever? Why do Caucuses only represent about 3% of the population but they are allotted delegates in the same manner as primaries which represent a much larger percentage of the population?

What was the final delegate count really? I mean BEFORE the forced and scripted roll call that was halted for a fake show of unity. The pledged delegate count was very close before Obama decided to restore Michigan and Florida to full vote status yet they never reported how that changed the actual delegate counts.

The media and the DNC swept all that under the rug since they were already busy planning how to spend the profits they intended to make on this Obama Gravy Train.

Not to mention the uncommitted delegates and the four Clinton delegates that were given to him in Michigan even though he was not on the ballot. Now that those were full votes it makes twice many delegates he gained by fraudulent methods. It’s twice as many delegates for Hillary too. She won both states hands down.

I  don’t think that’s something I want to get over. The day when there is no outrage at cheating will be a cold day in Hell in my book and the books of many, many people in this country.

Truthfully for many of us it ceased to be about Hillary Clinton on May 31st, 2008. That was the day it became about so much more than Hillary vs. Obama it became about right and wrong. it was the shock of seeing our “leadership” distort the rules and pervert the process in order to spot Obama a few points because I guess they knew he would need them to “win” that created the outrage and the movement that is PUMA.

They have only themselves to blame. In a democratic society cheating will always cause outrage. You could say it’s the expected reaction even. The fact that it was carried out by our own side does not make it acceptable. I feel as strongly about it as I do Rev. Wright and his racist, anti-American rants. There is no context in which that is acceptable.

Most people in this country are decent, hardworking people who care very much about the difference between right and wrong. They work very hard to live by those values and to instill them in their children. Party makes no difference to those people but truth does. As does honesty, integrity, loyalty and compassion. These are things most people feel very strongly about regardless of their typical voting preferences. Things like these are deal breakers.

I have also heard the Roe v Wade argument to death. Won’t happen, we have a Dem controlled congress. The Supreme Court Argument. The Palin is pro-life argument. I don’t know many republicans that aren’t so why would they think this is news? I’ve heard them all.

I’ve also gotten a chorus of defensive stuff too over the exposure of Obamabot behaviour. For instance my last post that linked to Hillbuzz and the video of Democratic Underground posters and their EBay listing of Sarah Palin’s 4 month old baby. Of course the fact that this was on a Democratic blog and the posters were long time members with 1000+ posts each would NOT suggest to me that this is a Republican strategy. Someone is faking it to make the Dems look bad. No it would not suggest that to me at all but you be the judge. Some people! Eyes rolling!

The other things they do also like the recent discovery by the custodian at Invesco Field of 84 trash bags filled with American flags, Obama/Biden campaign signs, empty pizza boxes and other assorted trash. The custodian found them in the dumpster and called around eventually getting in touch with the Veterans and the Boy Scouts who sorted, rolled and recycled them by handing them out at a GOP campaign event. Flags that people did not want to keep were to be donated to be placed on Veteran’s graves.

The fact that Democrats who were touting this convention as the “Greenest Ever” would be so wasteful and that they would treat our flag with such disrespect is appalling to most people. I have heard though that this too must have been republicans, that everybody throws flags away, that they were supposedly “stolen” and intended for reuse. I’ve heard that it wouldn’t have been the Dems’ fault the custodian would be to blame. Obviously they didn’t read the part of the story where it said the custodian found them in the dumpster and I saw photos they were not being recycled they were in with the garbage.

Anybody remember when Obama went to Oregon and his people set up a port-a-potty on the memorial for a fallen police officer? That was probably republicans too. I know LOTS of republicans who go around volunteering to help set up for Obama events. (Sarcasm OFF.)

I can identify with that a tiny bit however because I know my friends are really just in denial. They do not want to admit to themselves that people could do these kinds of things and the idea that it could be members of the party you have held dear and worked hard for, been a loyal soldier for, well that’s a bitter pill to swallow.

I have a feeling though that swallow it they will. They have 54 days to let it sink in. 54 days to decide to do the right thing. I’m confident many of my friends will do just that because in the end they are decent, hardworking and compassionate people. They will not legitimize the atrocities that took place in the name of a win at any cost quest for power. They will not give their votes or their trust to those who cannot be trusted.

Obama and his supporters will understand in November when people go to the polls with determination to do what is right and what is best for our country.

In the end it is far less important who you vote for than who you vote against.

Okay in keeping with the title of the post I will say I’m happy we are moving toward a world where these things will someday not matter. The Democrats are officially the first major party to nominate an African American for POTUS and this will go down in the history books for that reason! Congrats to African Americans, the Democratic Party and all Americans for that! Hopefully we will soon be at a point where this becomes so commonplace it is a non-issue. A nation that values it’s people based on their character and their contributions not their race, religion or gender.

Now on to the OTHER reasons this election cycle will go down in history some of which are not nearly as noble or celebratory. What am I talking about you might be asking?

This election cycle will definitely go down in the history books as the year when the Democrats moved as far away from the concept of democracy as they possibly could without actually changing the party name to Kommies for Amerrikka! The tactics used in this primary season were straight from the GOP playbook with one major exception.

The GOP has a rule: Never use dirty tactics against other Republicans. Against the other side it is expected, even encouraged. By all means use every dirty, underhanded, manipulative and fear-maongering tactic at your disposal against the “enemy” whether they be Dems or Independants, Libertarians or The Green Party. Mission seek and destroy! But never, nver, ever use those tactics to attack a fellow Republican!

This year during the primary season we saw caucus manipulation  (really in many instances it was out-right cheating, coercion by intimidation and the use of learned and practiced “shout ’em down” thug tactics),  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGZFgMNM-UU   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXNqFQmGxDU&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4XFvq5XMk8&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnclKiHwatw&feature=related

Voter Registration Fraud ACORN and CSI (Volunteers were in some cases filling out registration sheets and forms with random names from the phone book or just made up to insure they got paid. Apparently they were paid according to quotas as in per X amount of registrations. Brilliance I tell ya’!), http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/08/20/money-laundering-scandal/  http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/08/22/acorn-%e2%80%93-csi-%e2%80%93-obama-someone-else-noticed/

Race-bating including portraying the only Two-Term Democratic President in the last 40 years and someone who has done more for racial equality and the black community than The One ever has or will as a racist. This tactic was used, falsley, against Bill and Hillary Clinton and anyone who supported either one of them or anyone who did not support Barrack Obama. The smearing of good Democrats with proven records of fighting good causes and striving for equality and a better life for all Americans was done not by Republicans as we are used to but by our fellow Democrats who used this as a club to beat the competition with.

All through the primaries we were deluged with Clinton hate and smears against the former Clinton Administration all the while being told that it was Hillary and Bill who were “smearing and fear-mongering”. They went on and on about things like the supposed “tarnishing” of the party by the Monica scandal and the “anything to win” tactics they accused the Clinton campaign of all the while trying very hard to smear and erase all the truly good things that were accomplished in the 90’s.

You know things like eliminating a huge deficit and leaving an actual surplus. That in itself was an unprecedented achievement. Things like improvements to our educational system, programs for families with young children and the pride we felt about our reputation in the world.

I could go on for quite a while on the things that the Clinton Administration did for our country. Things that sadly have been squandered and left by the side of the road like unwanted trash by the current administration. People had jobs, were able to pay their bills and buy homes.

Back to the race baiting here’s the real kicker. No matter what criticism was made about Obama it was all immediately branded as racist. He’s inexperienced – Racist, He’s an elitist – Racist, Tire gages won’t solve the energy crisis and bring down gas prices – Racist, not qualified – Racist, Rezco, Wright, Farrakkan, Auchi – all Racist claims according to camp Obama. FISA, Cheney’s Energy bill and his stance on the Born Alive Act – Racist. In fact by now you should be able to see a pattern here.

According to the Obama camp and the “powers that be” (DNC Leadership) any and all criticism of The One is deemed Racist and politicly incorrect regardless of whether or not it’s true. Got it? He’s PERFECT! Anyone who says otherwise is… you guessed it, racist. Did you get the memo folks?

From: DNC

To: Voters

There is no reason to vote against or refuse to support Obama that is not motivated by racism and bigotry. End of story. This is the official party line and is the ONLY sanctioned response. Please keep in mind that we are the PROGRESSIVE party and as such NO DISSENT will be tolerated! Party members choosing to ignore this edict will be subject to threats, intimidation and possibly the stripping of credentials as well as expulsion from the party.

Sincerely,

Howie, Nancy, Harry and Donna

P.S. Don’t forget to donate!

Okay, okay! So it’s not a real memo but it could very well have been and it’s definitely been implied.

Meanwhile it was never said but always understood that these same rules did not apply to the distinguished Senator from New York. In fact it was open season on Hillary Clinton, former President Clinton and the legacy left by his administration. Camp Obama tried with all their might to re-write the hisory of the 90’s as a hard and terrible time fraught with shame, scandal and poverty.

Well folks as a person who was actually old enough to be paying my own bills in the 90’s I can tell you that NONE of that was true. There were plenty of jobs, the banks were not going under every other day, people could afford to purchase homes for their families and even afford to send those families to college. Our country was actually respected as a leader in Democracy and Diplomacy. Something Obama has no clue about.

That’s why it hasn’t stuck. Try as they might to paint the Clintons with a terrible legacy of a failed economy and national history the facts speak otherwise. LOUDLY!

Here’s is another reason this will go down in the history books. This is the first election to my knowledge where Democrats not only attacked fellow Dems but decreed any and all dissent must be squashed by any means necessary. Long time Democratic websites and blogs began ceremoniously kicking out members who expressed displeasure with the candidate de’ jour. Blogs were spam bombed in coordinated attacks that the attackers actually bragged about on their own sites.

Even the normal political attack ads that we typicaly see every election year have been not just scrutinized but demonized and even now camp Obama is threatening legal action against the donors of a 527 group for making an ad that frankly, tells the truth about The One’s close relationship with one William Ayers. (Remember Obama said he was just some guy in his neighborhood?) In fact Obama’s first political campaign was launched from the very same William Ayers’ home in Chicago!

That’s right he wants to put the people who made the ad and those who contributed money to the group behind bars for daring to speak against The One, for speaking the truth!

Here is the first letter to the station managers:

http://noquarterusa.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/aiplettertostations.pdf

Here’s a post about the entire fiasco:

http://www.dequalss.com/wp/2008/08/the-baby-is-crying-again/

Then apparently they sent a second letter actually threatening legal action against the stations airing the ad, the group who made it and the donors who contributed. I’m trying to find the link to the second letter. I should know to save these things! If anyone else has a link please post it and I’ll add it in.

Here it is.

http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=MmUwOTllNmMzZDNlMTljMGFmY2JkZTllYmQyOTY0ODY=

And finally the rebuttal from the groups legal advisors:

http://noquarterusa.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/aip-response.pdf

My how progressive and liberal of the Obama people! How Democratic! I’m so glad they believe in free speech and all!

Thanks to Obamabi.com for the video.

Seriously folks these people are far worse than even the Republicans. Democrats do not quell dissent! They do not quash free speech and they do not use coercion, threats and propaganda techniques to control and distort messages!

At least REAL Democrats don’t! Obamacrats? Well that’s another story! These people have more in common with Hitler and Stalin than FDR or JFK. They would never have tried to shut people up from their own party and they never would have stood for treating other people, much less Democrats, with anything less than the respect any American deserves!

Shame on Barrack Obama and his followers for this will surely go down in the history books as the time when our party lost it’s way and turned to facism rather than using actual principals, facts and decency to argue their case!

There’s always more but I’m going to stop for now.

If you have not yet read this I will warn you! Do not read while you are drinking or eating as it may cause you to choke, spit your beverage onto your keyboard or puke!  Here you go:

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2008/aug/19/democratic-delegates-reveal-thug-tactics-hillary-s/?feedback=1#comments

“It’s downright nasty,” said Memphis superdelegate and City Council member Myron Lowery, who has shared dozens of the messages he’s received with The Commercial Appeal.

“I think it’s divisive for the ‘Support Hillary’ campaign to continue at this time. She made the decision to fully support Mr. Obama,” said Lowery. “I don’t know why they’re not taking their cue from Hillary and falling in line.”

Lowery said he does not believe Clinton herself is behind the effort, but that it’s “her supporters, acting on their own because they’re proud of what they have done for her.”

Damn straight we’re proud of what we’ve done for her! We’ve had to fight tooth and nail for her to get the traditional roll call vote that every other candidate has always been given as a matter of common practice. We’ve had to fight for every tiny bit of respect the Obama campaign and supporters have grudgingly paid her and her historic campaign.

We are proud of our candidate and our efforts for her. So what? Since when is that a crime?

BTW if I hear one more democratic official ask why we don’t just “fall in line” I may start a “mail your shit to the idiots” campaign! Wouldn’t that be fun! OK! I promise not to crap into an envelope and mail it if only for the sake of the poor postal workers who would have to deliver it but you see where I’m coming from. (No fun! No fun at all!)

Most of the messages Lowery has received from across the country come from Hillary supporters making the case that she won more voters’ votes in the primaries, she won bigger states, that Obama won states that won’t vote Democratic in November and that she is the only “elect-able” Democrat.

“Obama could not ‘seal the deal’ with voters during the primaries,” said one message Lowery received Tuesday from a Sacha Millstone, a Colorado delegate to next week’s convention. “The more voters got to know him, the more voters chose Hillary Clinton…

“Democrats must offer voters the candidate with the best chance of winning in November, the experienced candidate who understands the problems we face and the solutions we need — Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

Hmmmm…so these are the “Thug tactics” the article was complaining about. So I take it voting for the person you think is the best for the job and asking for the delegates to vote according to the votes that were cast is thuggery. Apparently it is according to this author.

I suppose that Bartholomew Sullivan, the author of this utterly and completely biased piece of so called journalism thinks that these “Thug Tactics” he talks about are worse than the intimidation, harassment, threats to people’s businesses, reputations and physical well being pale in comparison? The tendencies of Obama supporters to portray all dissenters as “Racists” and “Closet Republicans” as well as bitter, typical, white, old, female, bitter, dead-enders, holdouts, menopausal hysterics is not thuggish at all?

I guess he thinks that Obama supporters who make threats and use other people’s screennames and email addresses to make false comments on sites and sign people up for MyBarrackObama blog accounts without their knowledge or consent is not underhanded in any way either? How about when they try 50 – 75 times per day to change a Hillary supporter’s password on a site that they post at? (Does the word Hack mean anything?) Or when they coordinate attacks on anti-Obama blogs and forums causing them to shut down, get locked or simply cause an error message I guess that’s supposed to be “friendly and civil”?

In a PUMA (which stands for “party unity my ass” to some but for the official organization it stands for People United Means Action) statement sent to Lowery last Friday, the group wrote that it was “ashamed of the strong-arming, political threats and thinly-veiled ‘suggestions’ that have been sent to Democratic delegates and superdelegates’ during this primary season. These ‘thug’ tactics appear to be increasing as Senator Obama begins the downward slide in the polls and Senator Clinton’s support grows.”

Michael Gordon of Parker City, Ind., wrote Lowery Tuesday as representative of PUMA, noting that the Obama campaign spent $56 million in July “only to lose ground to (John) McCain…

“Where Obama once got a free pass on such despicable relationships with anti-American people such as Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Soros, Pfleger, Farakkhan — the American voters are beginning to realize what a questionable and shady past this man has led,” Gordon writes.

Wow! How thuggish! They actually expect the DNC to consider whether or not this guy can get elected? I mean that is so not the point right? I mean how bad of us PUMAS to point out the obvious! Like how he’s not polling well when you consider it should be a slam dunk for Dems this year.

Wow! That’s like, so racist and MEAN! I mean, like who cares if he’s more fake and crooked than Nixon and more wishy washy than Carter? Right? It’s definitely racist to pick the person who could actually win right?

This is all about Obama and getting an African American the nomination so we can say we’re the most progressive right? Winning in November is, after all, not the important thing right? ( OMG even when I’m trying to spoof them I almost puke from writing those words!)

The good news as I see it is the word is getting out and that this idiot just gave PUMAS more free publicity! Thanks Bartholomew Sullivan! We need all the publicity we can get! I guess we should have pissed off the Kool-Ade drinkers sooner!

I recently ran into an old on-line friend in another forum that is totally unrelated to politics. We have a lot in common. We’re both former residents of the same “fly-over” state, both feel strongly about many of the same issues, especially on issues regarding children, women, human rights, protecting our environment and many other things.  She recently graduated college, got a new, exciting job and moved to another state.

I was thrilled to hear from her after such a long time. She posted something about Veep-stakes and I responded. (It’s not a political forum but people still do mention politics occasionaly.)

The response I got back stunned and disspaionted me. Same ‘ol, same ‘ol lines we get from the Obamabots as well as the supposed “converts” after the primaries.

UPDATED: i REMOVED THE COMMENTS FROM MY cONVERT FRIEND AT HER REQUEST. hOWEVER I WILL NOT BE REMOVING MY COMMENTS AS I FEEL THEY ARE MY OPINONS AND ARE IN LINE WITH THE GENERAL FEELING OF THE POST.

I guess we all know friends and family who feel this way but I still find it rather sad that they cannot look at the bigger picture here. 1. Who can actually win. 2. Country before party. 3. This guy is a fruad and has not been vetted. Below is my response to her. I tried not to be too harsh as I really do value her friendship and intellect.

XXX (Name deleted by CQ);

I read your response yesterday and to be honest I had to think about it before I replied.

I’m really saddened that you feel Clinton lost because she “ran a crummy campaign” as I think she ran the only campaign she could. IE; One with both hands tied behind her back, If she had really gone after Obama on the things that will sink him, she would have been crucified and hung out to dry by the party for attacking a fellow dem on such things.

They would rather ignore those things and wait for the repubs to jump on them instead of actually vetting the candidate ahead of time.

We will have to agree to disagree because I don’t believe that Hillary ran a crummy campaign or that she lost fair and square and besides that this is about far more than Hillary. We’re (PUMAS) still upset that the party totally screwed Michigan and Florida and then they gave uncommitted votes to a guy who’s name was not even on the ballot not to mention the 4 delegates that were taken from Clinton that were earned based on actual votes counted for Clinton because the wanted to reflect the will of the voters who did not do thier duty and get off their asses to actually vote. In my recollection the fair reflection rule was meant to reflect the will of the voters not those who didn’t vote.

More than even that is the fact the DNC leadership has been deeply biased from day one. Every time he lost big (West Virginia anybody? He got handed his ass.) a parade of supers came out to bolster him and in particular Edwards the big fraud who went on about family values and poor, working class folks and said he would not endorse before the end of the primaries came out immediately after WV to say the voters had spoken and so had he. Yes the voters spoke alright 46 point win for your opponent does not translate into voter support of your candidacy.

The thing that pisses me off most is the dismissiveness from Obama and his supporters as if not counting votes as cast is perfectly allright this year even though we were all screaming about it the last two elections. I guess it’s ok as long as it’s dems suppressing the vote.

Then we have the assumption that there are only a few holdouts and they’re mostly older, white, bitter women. I know for a fact there are a lot more than a few of us who will not vote for Barky and I also know that many of us are not gerriatric, menopausal and on our last, bitter, racist legs. It really pisses me off that half the party is being dismissed and dissed this way and they expect us to “come around”. Give me a break! If they were to actually try treating Hill’s supporters with any measure of respect they might have half a chance.

I actually thought very highly of the senator before this race started and I saw how he treated not only Hill and her supporters but the disdain he has for anyone who dares to question him. The conclusion put out by his camp that any and all critics are absolutely racist as they don’t believe anyone could possibly have any other reason to not vote for him. This is an insult!

Turn it around and ask an Obama supporter if they made their decision soley based on race see how offended they get. It’s just as stupid to believe on either side. Are there people who will vote or not vote Obama based soley on race? YES on BOTH sides. Does that mean everybody that will/won’t vote for him is doing so based soley on race? OF COURSE NOT!

I have been threatened, had my personal info published on the net (outed if you will),had horrible emails and comments made in my name by Obama supporters impersonating me, I have had them contact the Board of Realtors in my state and try to defame me, they have threatened my business, contacted proffessional organizations in my name and many other atrocities simply because I don’t agree with and will not vote for Obama. His thugs are more than enough reason for me.

So XXX (name deleted by CQ), I respect you and your opinion as well as your right to hold one different from my own but I respectfully disagree with your assesment.

I totaly agree about him picking a female VP that is not Hillary will be political suicide though and I would hope that he knows it too.

All I can say is this:
It ain’t over until it’s over! I promise if I turn out to be right about the convention or November I will do my best not to say I told you so!

Also people who claim Hill is doing this because she’s power-hungry or feels entitled are wrong. She is doing this as are many of us because we feel strongly that country comes before party and obama is a threat to both. She is doing everything she can to try and save the party and the country.

I do not want McCain either but if it is close in my state I may have to vote republican for the first time in my life because I feel that strongly that Obama must be defeated for America’s sake.

CQ

Something tells me she won’t be happy with my response any more than I was with hers but I have to honest about my feelings. I don’t believe in fake, pandering quasi-agreement. EDITED BY CQ TO ADD SHE WASN’T HAPPY ABOUT IT AT ALL AND AS YOU CAN SEE SHE ASKED TO HAVE HER COMMENTS REMOVED. i HAVE DONE SO. HOPEFULLY SHE AND I CAN REMAIN FRIEND BUT IF SHE NO LONGER WANTS TO THEN I WILL CONSIDER IT A LOSS BUT HER DECISION NOT MINE.

Discuss.

Well folks, I’ve decided that if the DNC does not overturn the illegal decision made at the May 31, 2008 Rules & By-Laws committee I will leave the party.

Funny, in spite of what Obama supporters think this decision which will be made by many including but not limited to the 18 million Clinton supporters is NOT an act of dis-loyalty to the party. In fact, it is made completely FOR party loyalty!

You see once upon a time there was this party which stood for equality for all regardless of race, religion, sex, age, economic status, oh, I could go on but I think it’s evident what I mean here and they stood for American Values as laid out by our founding fathers. (Where were the mothers in this? Why weren’t they asked to participate? OK that’s another blog-post. I digress.)

Those principals can be summed up pretty well with just a few words:

WE THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE!

That means ALL the people who PARTICIPATE! It does not mean some of the people, or some votes mean more than others. It does not mean vote counts can be changed to reflect voters that DID NOT VOTE nor does it mean votes can be changed to the candidate a committee decides to favor.

There is a lot of talk about Obama as the nominee. FACT: he is the “presumptive” nominee! he does not have enough pledged delegates to secure the nomination. Super delegates put him over the top and they can change their votes back and forth as many times as they want to between now and the convention.

Clinton is suspending her campaign for now but keeping her delegates. She will be here to save the party from itself when Obama implodes as he surely will.

Meantime, I and many like me who were protesting and screaming COUNT THE VOTES! EVERY VOTE COUNTS! in 2004, and are now screaming COUNT THE VOTES IN 2008 will rest assured, be here in the future when someone uses this decision as precedent to change YOUR VOTE.

We will still be here screaming COUNT THE VOTES! So go ahead, rest on your laurels Oabma supporters. We will be here to defend your rights, as usual!

Americans 1st, Democrats 2nd!

One voice, one vote! Every vote counts!

THERE CAN BE NO UNITY WITHOUT FAIR REFLECTION!

Bitter Dissapointment in Washington Caucus Results!
I am posting this on the HillaryClinton index site and the HillaryClinton.com blog site as well as my personal blog.

I am so dissapointed in the Washington Voters right now it makes me sick! I cannot believe that they swung towards Obama in spite of all the evidence that Hillary is the best person for the job!

I was not surprised that our Govenor went that way. Sorry to say I voted for her and have regretted every since! She may indeed be a Democrat but she has consistantly gone against what most Washington Dems want. I really wish Cantwell or Murray would have run I’d much rather vote for them and they do support Hillary and the main bulk of Dems here in Washington State. Either would be twice the govenor she is!

Of course I also feel I need to mention my dissatisfaction with the media coverage of the caucuses as well. As usual it’s about 75% slanted toward the media darling Senator Obama. I’m sick of reading reports that critisize Chelsea and Bill for supporting their wife and mother! EVERY candidate running has the support of their spouses and children and NONE of them were accused of “pimping out” their offspring! None of the spouses have been critisized for attacking the opposing candidates as Bill was. Michele Obama has been on the attack from day one saying some very nasty things that in my opinon were way out of line but the media never calls them on that.

To top it off Hillary is now being disparaged because she lent her campaign 5 million and people want her to show where it came from. PLEASE! As if the Clintons are poor and desparate and couldn’t possibly have money from their own ventures, books, speaking engagments not to mention their salaries!Nobody demanded Mitt Romney publish his tax returns and proove that his money was “good money”! (And we all know he spent plenty!) She does declare income and assets very year in the senate and that should be sufficient. Not only that But I have read two different news reports now that practicly, all but call her a liar, stating that “Mrs. Clinton claims to have raised 7.5 million since Tuesday the 5th.” as if she made it all up and is destitute! Why would she be? Why would she lie? Why don’t they make these assumptions about other candidates?

I’ll tell you why because Barak Obama is the media’s pick! They think they have the right to slant the news to suit them instead of reporting it fairly! I will NEVER watch MSNBC news again until they apologize and mend their biased ways!

I know this has been a long rant but I am seriously fed up! I have decided to start an email campaign to the “Super Delegates” in hopes of swaying them in Hillary’s favor for the good of our country. I hope to encourage my friends and family to do the same.

I am really annoyed that it will more than likely come down to them choosing our nominee but since that’s how it works, at least for now, I’ll have to go with it.

I want to encourage all of you to do the ame either by email or snail mail! Write the most informed, impassioned letters that you can and send them ASAP! Hillary needs our help and WE need her as our president!

Also please try to encourage friends, family, co-workers and fellow supporters to come here to the site as well as HillaryClinton.com and make their voices and choices heard!

Thanks for letting me rant guys! I’ll go fix breakfast and try to calm my nerves now!

Edit 7/1/08

We had still not learned of all the fraudulent and bully tactics used by the obama supporters at the time I wrote this. I have since realized that not oly is the caucus system inherently unfair to many groups of people it is also easily manipulated. Were it not for this fact and the complete lack of morals on the part of the Obama campaign he would never have been within reach of the nomination. It was caucus gaming and fraud combined with media collusion, Super delegates pressuring and lat but by no means least the RBC decision on may 31st that ultimately gave the nomination to Obama.
