After spending the better part of the last two years being totally and completely obsessed with the election it’s over. The outcome was not even close to what I had hoped for. Not by any means. I’m not even sure that the outcome was in any way acceptable but accept it I must.

It’s not a ringing endorsement for the intellect in this country as once again Americans proved that more than half of us are stupid. I would have thought we would have learned our lesson after not one but two terms of GW Bush but I digress.

The really hard part is not so much that my candidate lost, or even that my second choice candidate lost but who “won”. Sure Obama won and it’s historical and all that. It’s not that I didn’t want to see a black man elected. It’s that I would have liked for that man to have been elected fairly, with honor and for him not to be a socialist/marxist/communist with a penchant for sexism and misogyny.

Truth of the matter is Obama won but America lost BIG. We will feel the consequences of our actions for a long time to come as we discover that sadly, race relations and womens’ rights have been set back decades by this election cycle and all the rotting, stinking, festering wounds that come with it.

It’s been a real wake up call for sure. Not only has it made me realize how many people were completely duped by this fraud I have also opened my eyes to things I would never have seen before. I’ve come to realize that, as much as it pains me, my party is just as complicit in “dirty fighting” as the GOP and maybe even more so this time around. I see now that it has been this way for far longer than I care to admit.

Democrats who I believed were the “good guys” the ones who stood up for the little guys and women and minorities, the ones who I though were all about principals and were above all that stuff were in fact the purveyors of some of the worst and most un-democratic behaviour I have ever witnessed.

Suddenly the party that has never missed an opportunity to remind me they are the party I can trust to stand up for women has become the party of trendy, young women wearing T-Shirts that degrade and denigrate women as a fashion statement. Who would ever have thought that it would be trendy for one woman to call another woman a derogatory term for her reproductive parts?

It has also become trendy to shove more qualified, experienced candidates aside as if they were garbage in order to insure a less qualified, inexperienced, arrogant and manipulative man gets elected at any cost because apparently all that fighting to be “equal” was just noise they made to attract the boys. Gotta find a husband somehow huh?

Yes it’s the latest fashion to be seen trashing women and treating them as second class citizens even if you are one! It’s a sick world we live in when things like this become the “norm”.

It’s also the latest and greatest to make sure anyone who disagrees with you or asks an answer and actually expects an answer is humiliated, smeared, outed, threatened, harassed and “taught” that they dare not try that again!

The way forward? I’m torn about that. Part of me wants to stay a democrat and fight to oust those who are false Dems. To take the party back and return to the principals that are so neatly laid out in the charter. You know pesky things like One Voice, One Vote and Free Speech. Stuff like that. A long road that frankly, I’m not sure is even possible any more. So infested with rot and corruption and people who have no morals or principals it may not be salvageable at this point. I’ve lost a lot of faith this cycle and I’m quite sure that I’m not alone. I’d like to see the party back to what it should be but I’m not sure it can happen.

Another part of me wants to run not walk to the nearest registration site and register as an Independant, beholden to no one and not associated with the sub-human element that is in control of the party now.

Even yet another part says “Hey if enough of us joined the republicans they would become more moderate simply as a matter of the numbers and we might actually get something done!” (I’m quite sure conservative republicans would dread this and I’m not sure I could go through with such a rash action but there it is.)

It’s taken me almost two weeks to be able to even write this post so I imagine it will take a bit more than that to decide what’s next but you can be sure that no matter what I decide with regard to party affiliation I will continue to watch Obama like a hawk and prepare to defend democracy and the American way of life should my worst fears about him prove to be true.

That’s about as far as I can go for now.

Well there is an update. Supposedly African Press International has and is planning to release the tape of the alleged phone call.  I say we’ll have to wait and see.

http://africanpress.wordpress.com/2008/10/17/recordings-and-information-leading-to-recent-api-story-on-michelle-obamas-telephone-call-is-now-being-cleared-for-release/

Recordings and information leading to recent API story on Michelle Obama’s telephone call is now being cleared for release

Posted by africanpress on October 17, 2008

API is disturbed by the way many have reacted to the story on Mrs Obama’s call. Many have shown us by the way they have behaved towards API that they only think of their own interests because they have demanded that the audio recordings should be released immediately. We understand that the tapes should be released, but those who have demanded the release of the tapes seem not take into account that API may become a suing target.

The Recordings:

API has recordings of the conversation between API and Mrs Obama (Shocking development: Mrs Obama decides enough is enough: “My husband was born in Hawaii and adopted by his step father, does that make him unpatriotic; she asks”, on a direct telephone to API., and we confirm that the audio will be released to the public. In the last 24 hours, API has been consulting legal advisers on the way forward in order to avoid being sued by the Obama camp. API has realised that the contents of the tapes if made public may change the political atmosphere in America for ever, especially in the next few days.

Due to enormous reactions received, API now understands the impact of the statements made by Mrs Obama. The American people have reacted in a way we in API would never have expected.

Many have question why Mrs Obama would choose a little known online media group instead of the American media. API was chosen because of a Nairobi contact that did not like the way API was covering Barack Obama using information collected from American media outlets. The Nairobi contact prevailed upon Mrs Obama to talk to API.

The only thing API may have done wrong is not informing Mrs Obama that the conversation was being recorded. This is why it is taking time to release the recording while consulting a legal team because API wants to be legally safe from any Obama camp law suit.

The US Media Outlets:

Since the release of Mrs Obama story, many US media outlets have insisted that API should release the recordings made when Mrs Obama spoke with API. We understand the importance of the recordings in our possession and yet the first thing we are thinking of is not simply to make them public because groups are pressurising API to do so. The release of the information will be done, because we know we have Mrs Obama on tape, but API must do it in a way that does not put API in an embarrassing legal situation.

Die-hard Obama supporters:

A number of Americans who are die-hard Obama followers have tried their best to intimidate API using all kinds of threatening methods when they call in and when they email us. They are implying that API is planning to destroy Obama’s chances to become the next US President. API does not have a direct interest in the US Presidential elections and we want Obama supporters to understand that. However, when someone who may become the next first lady makes such comments as in the story we have published, the public have the right to know. Intimidation directed to the publishers of the story is not the answer.

The delay to make public the recordings is expected to give time to Mrs Obama to come clean and tell the American people that her comments were not meant to harm anyone  but that she was reacting to the media pressure on her husband. She should also come out and tell the American people that she will not discriminate those who are not Obama fanatics if she becomes the first lady.

Die-hard Mcain supporters:

Those who do not support Obama are actively pushing for the release of the recordings also, and we understand them very well. In many telephone conversations with them we, however, get disturbed when we realise that most of them want the recordings to be released because they want to use it to stop Senator Obama from being elected President. They state clearly that if the story is true and released now, the contents will safe America from a constitutional crisis that may come if things come out after the elections that proves Obama was adopted by a foreigner, thus, disqualifying him from the Presidency.

Some readers:

Some have questioned why API has its base in Norway. Online News Media can be based anywhere in the world. With the Internet age, a news network can have people anywhere in the world. API’s news correspondents – 19 of them are real and based in the African Continent. API is a solid Daily Online News Channel and this Obama story will not change that.

Questioning API on being based in Norway:

There is nothing wrong having African Press International based in Norway and the channel run by Africans from the African Continent. Even Kenya’s present Prime Minister Raila Odinga lived in Norway for some time before joining the Kenya government.

API has also been accused because of the timing to release Mrs Obama story. Some even discus small issues as to why API telephone number starts with 00, and spellings in the article. This to us in API sounds ridiculous.

The important thing to be concerned about is how API obtained the story and how genuine it is. The second thing is to exercise understanding and to respect why there is a delay in releasing the recordings. API is not saying there are no recordings, but it is important to take serious API’s concerns on a possible suit if the tapes are not handled carefully.

API is not out to convince the American public of anything. We do not want to influence the outcome of the US Presidential elections. API got a true story and published it. The fact that the story has caused a stir was unexpected, but that does not mean API must rush in a manner that will cause problems to itself, just to satisfy those who want the audio tapes so badly.

When the legal concerns are cleared, which is happening in a short while, API will make public all the recordings available. This will also include comments, not yet published, which will most certainly put the Obama Campaign spokesperson who had dismissed the story off balance.

Even if our recordings or any other recordings had surfaced after the elections and  if the contents were damaging to the elected person that still could have caused any elected president to vacate the White House. We all know that the tapes released in the US in 1974 forced President Richard Nixon out of office. The truth is the truth. The tapes during Nixon time did not lie.

The same here. The recordings that API will release soon will not lie to the American people. Most probably, it will change the political landscape, something the Americans should start getting prepared to face.

If they really have a tape and can verify it is Michelle Obama what does it all mean? Is it more eveidence of Burg’s allegations? If they have it I hope they release it soon!

I’ve been hearing for a while now the common theme that  the McCain/Palin camp is supposedly inciting racism, hatred and violence. See https://caffinequeen.wordpress.com/2008/10/08/newest-obamacrat-talking-point/  for more on this.

It has even been “proclaimed” that Mac and his supporters are trying to get someone to assassinate The One. Total BULLSHIT! Just another “poor me the victim” claim from camp Obama and it’s just as false as all the rest.

I’ve read and heard many say that the anger expressed by supporters at McCain/Palin events is “out of control rage and racism” and that supposedly McCain isn’t doing enough to stop it. I’d say it’s more like they don’t want this socialist in control of the country and they are angry because the race is close when they think it should be a slam dunk for Mac against the worst candidate ever.

I feel the same way. I cannot believe the people who tell me they are not at all concerned about Obama’s radical associates, his connection to foriegn and domestic terrorists, his ties to ACORN (Yes he IS tied to ACORN in a very big way), his affection for radical religious leaders like Rev. Wright, Father Phleger, Louis Farrakkan and more. Mostly radical religious leaders who peddle hate speech as sermons.

Not only that but these are the same people (Obamabots) who have posted things on The Daily Kos and even the Official DNC website not only advocating but in some cases out right calling for physical and/or sexual violence against Hillary Clinton and many of these hateful posts are still on display for all to see while any reference to anything not positive about The One is immediately deleted and the user(s) banned and admonished as haters and racists.

Remember the “Bros Before Hoes” T-Shirts or all posts about “Hitlery” or all the times even MSM seemed to say she should be taken in a room by someone and “only he comes out”? I suppose that was in no way inciting hatred or violence?

This from the campaign that told supporters “I want you to get in their face”, and “if they bring a knife then we’ll bring a gun”. The wonderful candidate who has blogs from his supporters on his own website demanding that they commit to making sure Obama got the nomination “by any means necessary” and the same supporters who have written numerous blogs and essays about how “violence and rioting will ensue” if Obama is not the next president.

This from the guy that went to Kenya on the taxpayers’ dime to campaign for his cousin Ralia Odinga. You know the guy that lost his first attempt at power and incited race riots, ethnic cleansing and general chaos afterward claiming that the election was “stolen” from him though it was clearly not. The guy who won his second attempt in large part because of those tactics and the fact that he basicly bought the support of radical muslims by promising to install Sharia Law. The cousin who took notes from Obama on how to do this. If you don’t beleive me read up on Odinga. Or you can watch this video.

Seriously these Obama supporters have been the nastiest, the rudest, the most hateful and violent I have ever encountered in an election cycle. They will threaten, stalk, hack whatever it takes to supress any views other than their own. I have heard of more death threats and threats of violence and various reprisals from Obama supporters than should ever be allowed and yet I have not once seen him try to reign them in.

Well , he did say that the families were off limits after his supporters and his official surrogates had already been smearing sarah Palin and her children for a week or so. It’s easy to speak out after the damage is done.

Suddenly telling the truth is racist and hateful. I had one message from an Obama supporter saying that she did not care one bit about his relationship with Bill Ayers and she wouldn’t care even if he were still doing the despicable things he did back then. It would have absolutely no effect on her decision making!

I have to wonder if these people are all complete nuts. Anyone who doesn’t care if the candidate they want to see in the white house has friendships with terrorists really isn’t smart enough to vote. Sorry but there it is. If you can seriously look at all his associations and think  nothing of it you are a fucking idiot of the highest order.

Seriously does this guy have even one friend or associate that is not either a criminal, a terrorist, a radical hate monger or a far-left nutjob? Not even one normal friend?

How many of us would have this number of anti-American leaning friends? All we hear from camp Obama is how he’s the poor widdle victim of hate and wacism and the mean ol repubwicans are trying to kiwl him! (Sorry for the tweety bird speak I just can’t help it)

Ever notice no matter what happens or who says or does what Obama attacks then claims he is attacked. he is always the “victim” and those of us who love America and democracy are always the “bullies”. Funny because if you look around you won’t see threats from Hillary Clinton supporters or from McCain/Palin supporters. That is unless you consider people saying they won’t vote for Ovbama a threat. I don’t. I call it a promise!

I’m so tired of all the sore loser and bitter dead-ender comments out there. They want to spin this party implosion as being all about Hillary Clinton’s supporters being “spiteful”.

I know you’ve seen it. It’s everywhere. According to these commenters we are voting against Obama only to spite him because he “won” and Hill “lost”. I guess they got tired of calling us racists and republicans. Maybe it was getting old and not sticking. Now they’re on a “spoiled brat, spiteful, sore loser, bitter, old hag” stchick.

When will these people ever figure out that name calling, guilt trips, scare tactics, threats and intimidation is NOT the way to win votes or recruit support? Did they ever hear the phrase “You will catch more flies with honey than vinegar.”? Guess not.

Here’s the truth. Are we pissed off that Hillary Clinton the distinguished Senator from New York, former First lady of the USA and the best candidate to come along in years is not our party’s nominee? Damn right we are! Are we voting against and refusing to support Obama soley because of that anger and dissapointment? Hell NO!

There may be a few Clinton supporters who would disagree with me and say it’s their only reason but truthfully there are very few who feel that way. Sure we’re all bummed but I was bummed when Kerry won the nomination in 2004 as I have been bummed many other times but I still voted for him.

Recently I had some coment made asking me whether I would have voted for George Bush out of spite if it had been Hillary who lost the nomination to Kerry. Answer? NO and Hell NO! He wasn’t my choice and I didn’t like it but I voted for him. Why? I trusted him more than I would ever trust Bush. I didn’t like him that much but he was by far the lesser of two evils in that situation. This is NOT the case in this election cycle. Far from it in fact.

People who try to tell me that Obama’s policies are “nearly identical” might as well save their breath because it’s bullshit. His policies, are a parade of ever changing pandering that even some of my far left friends who supported him are having a hard time keeping up with. Whatever they are today you can rest assured they will be different tomorrow or as soon as it becomes politically expedient that he change them. Again.

Pure and simple, straight from this horse’s mouth, so to speak. We will not vote for him because he is not the right person for the job.  He is not even close. No choice for VP, not even Hillary would have ever made up for that. We don’t think he’s up for the job and more important than that we DO NOT TRUST HIM!

He has proven to be naive at best in his reaction to the current Russia/Georgia conflict as well as incompetent on almost every other major issue. Were he to become the POTUS it is my sincere belief that the country would be in complete economic chaos within the first year of his administration.

Then we have his ideas on foriegn policy (again naive and foolish), National Health Insurance (don’t even get me started on this one) and taxes (raising the Capital Gains Tax has been tried before and proved ineffective and unsucessfull).

The we have the issues of his dangerous associations and all the endorsements from people like Louis Farrakan, NOI, Black Panthers, Hamas, Kim Jong Il, Osama bin Laden. He may not have asked for those endorsments but the fact that people like this support and endorse him is very telling indeed.

Let’s see Rezco (set to be sentenced a week before the November election), Ayers (flag burning, fire bombing, self admitted terrorist who wishes they had done more), Auchi, Odinga, ACORN, Rev. Wright (God Damn America Rev. Wright) and the list goes on and on and on. Why is this guy associated with so many radical, terrorist types? Not to mention convicted criminals. How come they all seem to love Obama so much? Why do they flock to him in droves? You think maybe they recognize a kindred spirit?

To the person or persons who keep sending me comments threatening me and telling me to shut the fuck up: Dream on ! I will not shut up! If it was only that easy! In the words of the famous Tweety Bird “You don’t know me vewy well now do you?” Oh, and BTW, I am self employed so there goes that threat too! Tough day for you huh?

If you have not yet read this I will warn you! Do not read while you are drinking or eating as it may cause you to choke, spit your beverage onto your keyboard or puke!  Here you go:

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2008/aug/19/democratic-delegates-reveal-thug-tactics-hillary-s/?feedback=1#comments

“It’s downright nasty,” said Memphis superdelegate and City Council member Myron Lowery, who has shared dozens of the messages he’s received with The Commercial Appeal.

“I think it’s divisive for the ‘Support Hillary’ campaign to continue at this time. She made the decision to fully support Mr. Obama,” said Lowery. “I don’t know why they’re not taking their cue from Hillary and falling in line.”

Lowery said he does not believe Clinton herself is behind the effort, but that it’s “her supporters, acting on their own because they’re proud of what they have done for her.”

Damn straight we’re proud of what we’ve done for her! We’ve had to fight tooth and nail for her to get the traditional roll call vote that every other candidate has always been given as a matter of common practice. We’ve had to fight for every tiny bit of respect the Obama campaign and supporters have grudgingly paid her and her historic campaign.

We are proud of our candidate and our efforts for her. So what? Since when is that a crime?

BTW if I hear one more democratic official ask why we don’t just “fall in line” I may start a “mail your shit to the idiots” campaign! Wouldn’t that be fun! OK! I promise not to crap into an envelope and mail it if only for the sake of the poor postal workers who would have to deliver it but you see where I’m coming from. (No fun! No fun at all!)

Most of the messages Lowery has received from across the country come from Hillary supporters making the case that she won more voters’ votes in the primaries, she won bigger states, that Obama won states that won’t vote Democratic in November and that she is the only “elect-able” Democrat.

“Obama could not ‘seal the deal’ with voters during the primaries,” said one message Lowery received Tuesday from a Sacha Millstone, a Colorado delegate to next week’s convention. “The more voters got to know him, the more voters chose Hillary Clinton…

“Democrats must offer voters the candidate with the best chance of winning in November, the experienced candidate who understands the problems we face and the solutions we need — Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

Hmmmm…so these are the “Thug tactics” the article was complaining about. So I take it voting for the person you think is the best for the job and asking for the delegates to vote according to the votes that were cast is thuggery. Apparently it is according to this author.

I suppose that Bartholomew Sullivan, the author of this utterly and completely biased piece of so called journalism thinks that these “Thug Tactics” he talks about are worse than the intimidation, harassment, threats to people’s businesses, reputations and physical well being pale in comparison? The tendencies of Obama supporters to portray all dissenters as “Racists” and “Closet Republicans” as well as bitter, typical, white, old, female, bitter, dead-enders, holdouts, menopausal hysterics is not thuggish at all?

I guess he thinks that Obama supporters who make threats and use other people’s screennames and email addresses to make false comments on sites and sign people up for MyBarrackObama blog accounts without their knowledge or consent is not underhanded in any way either? How about when they try 50 – 75 times per day to change a Hillary supporter’s password on a site that they post at? (Does the word Hack mean anything?) Or when they coordinate attacks on anti-Obama blogs and forums causing them to shut down, get locked or simply cause an error message I guess that’s supposed to be “friendly and civil”?

In a PUMA (which stands for “party unity my ass” to some but for the official organization it stands for People United Means Action) statement sent to Lowery last Friday, the group wrote that it was “ashamed of the strong-arming, political threats and thinly-veiled ‘suggestions’ that have been sent to Democratic delegates and superdelegates’ during this primary season. These ‘thug’ tactics appear to be increasing as Senator Obama begins the downward slide in the polls and Senator Clinton’s support grows.”

Michael Gordon of Parker City, Ind., wrote Lowery Tuesday as representative of PUMA, noting that the Obama campaign spent $56 million in July “only to lose ground to (John) McCain…

“Where Obama once got a free pass on such despicable relationships with anti-American people such as Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Soros, Pfleger, Farakkhan — the American voters are beginning to realize what a questionable and shady past this man has led,” Gordon writes.

Wow! How thuggish! They actually expect the DNC to consider whether or not this guy can get elected? I mean that is so not the point right? I mean how bad of us PUMAS to point out the obvious! Like how he’s not polling well when you consider it should be a slam dunk for Dems this year.

Wow! That’s like, so racist and MEAN! I mean, like who cares if he’s more fake and crooked than Nixon and more wishy washy than Carter? Right? It’s definitely racist to pick the person who could actually win right?

This is all about Obama and getting an African American the nomination so we can say we’re the most progressive right? Winning in November is, after all, not the important thing right? ( OMG even when I’m trying to spoof them I almost puke from writing those words!)

The good news as I see it is the word is getting out and that this idiot just gave PUMAS more free publicity! Thanks Bartholomew Sullivan! We need all the publicity we can get! I guess we should have pissed off the Kool-Ade drinkers sooner!

I recently ran into an old on-line friend in another forum that is totally unrelated to politics. We have a lot in common. We’re both former residents of the same “fly-over” state, both feel strongly about many of the same issues, especially on issues regarding children, women, human rights, protecting our environment and many other things.  She recently graduated college, got a new, exciting job and moved to another state.

I was thrilled to hear from her after such a long time. She posted something about Veep-stakes and I responded. (It’s not a political forum but people still do mention politics occasionaly.)

The response I got back stunned and disspaionted me. Same ‘ol, same ‘ol lines we get from the Obamabots as well as the supposed “converts” after the primaries.

UPDATED: i REMOVED THE COMMENTS FROM MY cONVERT FRIEND AT HER REQUEST. hOWEVER I WILL NOT BE REMOVING MY COMMENTS AS I FEEL THEY ARE MY OPINONS AND ARE IN LINE WITH THE GENERAL FEELING OF THE POST.

I guess we all know friends and family who feel this way but I still find it rather sad that they cannot look at the bigger picture here. 1. Who can actually win. 2. Country before party. 3. This guy is a fruad and has not been vetted. Below is my response to her. I tried not to be too harsh as I really do value her friendship and intellect.

XXX (Name deleted by CQ);

I read your response yesterday and to be honest I had to think about it before I replied.

I’m really saddened that you feel Clinton lost because she “ran a crummy campaign” as I think she ran the only campaign she could. IE; One with both hands tied behind her back, If she had really gone after Obama on the things that will sink him, she would have been crucified and hung out to dry by the party for attacking a fellow dem on such things.

They would rather ignore those things and wait for the repubs to jump on them instead of actually vetting the candidate ahead of time.

We will have to agree to disagree because I don’t believe that Hillary ran a crummy campaign or that she lost fair and square and besides that this is about far more than Hillary. We’re (PUMAS) still upset that the party totally screwed Michigan and Florida and then they gave uncommitted votes to a guy who’s name was not even on the ballot not to mention the 4 delegates that were taken from Clinton that were earned based on actual votes counted for Clinton because the wanted to reflect the will of the voters who did not do thier duty and get off their asses to actually vote. In my recollection the fair reflection rule was meant to reflect the will of the voters not those who didn’t vote.

More than even that is the fact the DNC leadership has been deeply biased from day one. Every time he lost big (West Virginia anybody? He got handed his ass.) a parade of supers came out to bolster him and in particular Edwards the big fraud who went on about family values and poor, working class folks and said he would not endorse before the end of the primaries came out immediately after WV to say the voters had spoken and so had he. Yes the voters spoke alright 46 point win for your opponent does not translate into voter support of your candidacy.

The thing that pisses me off most is the dismissiveness from Obama and his supporters as if not counting votes as cast is perfectly allright this year even though we were all screaming about it the last two elections. I guess it’s ok as long as it’s dems suppressing the vote.

Then we have the assumption that there are only a few holdouts and they’re mostly older, white, bitter women. I know for a fact there are a lot more than a few of us who will not vote for Barky and I also know that many of us are not gerriatric, menopausal and on our last, bitter, racist legs. It really pisses me off that half the party is being dismissed and dissed this way and they expect us to “come around”. Give me a break! If they were to actually try treating Hill’s supporters with any measure of respect they might have half a chance.

I actually thought very highly of the senator before this race started and I saw how he treated not only Hill and her supporters but the disdain he has for anyone who dares to question him. The conclusion put out by his camp that any and all critics are absolutely racist as they don’t believe anyone could possibly have any other reason to not vote for him. This is an insult!

Turn it around and ask an Obama supporter if they made their decision soley based on race see how offended they get. It’s just as stupid to believe on either side. Are there people who will vote or not vote Obama based soley on race? YES on BOTH sides. Does that mean everybody that will/won’t vote for him is doing so based soley on race? OF COURSE NOT!

I have been threatened, had my personal info published on the net (outed if you will),had horrible emails and comments made in my name by Obama supporters impersonating me, I have had them contact the Board of Realtors in my state and try to defame me, they have threatened my business, contacted proffessional organizations in my name and many other atrocities simply because I don’t agree with and will not vote for Obama. His thugs are more than enough reason for me.

So XXX (name deleted by CQ), I respect you and your opinion as well as your right to hold one different from my own but I respectfully disagree with your assesment.

I totaly agree about him picking a female VP that is not Hillary will be political suicide though and I would hope that he knows it too.

All I can say is this:
It ain’t over until it’s over! I promise if I turn out to be right about the convention or November I will do my best not to say I told you so!

Also people who claim Hill is doing this because she’s power-hungry or feels entitled are wrong. She is doing this as are many of us because we feel strongly that country comes before party and obama is a threat to both. She is doing everything she can to try and save the party and the country.

I do not want McCain either but if it is close in my state I may have to vote republican for the first time in my life because I feel that strongly that Obama must be defeated for America’s sake.

CQ

Something tells me she won’t be happy with my response any more than I was with hers but I have to honest about my feelings. I don’t believe in fake, pandering quasi-agreement. EDITED BY CQ TO ADD SHE WASN’T HAPPY ABOUT IT AT ALL AND AS YOU CAN SEE SHE ASKED TO HAVE HER COMMENTS REMOVED. i HAVE DONE SO. HOPEFULLY SHE AND I CAN REMAIN FRIEND BUT IF SHE NO LONGER WANTS TO THEN I WILL CONSIDER IT A LOSS BUT HER DECISION NOT MINE.

Discuss.

I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit lately. No matter who you are or what your reasons are for not supporting the presumptuous (and petulant) nominee if you express them in any way you will automatically be attacked and called all number of vile things and most of them contain the word racist.

You could go on for days about issues, policies, flip-flopping, electability, experience or rather lack thereof, accomplishments (again see lack thereof), Rezco, Wright, Auchi, Odinga, ACORN, and his reluctance, no more like his absolute refusal to answer any hard or meaningful questions as is and should be expected of any other candidate.

Any question that he does not like is met with an immediate charge of racism or McCain surrogacy, if not from The One himself then from someone in his camp. This then becomes a talking point and action plan in the pro-Obama blogisphere where any comment perceived as anti-Obama is gang attacked with similar disdain as if it makes the commenter beneath human merely for making it. Free speech is not something these people take seriously. In their opinion they are free to tell you what to speak.

I’ve decided that since they obviously cannot understand making a decision based on anything other than race that they must then base their own decisions based on race. I mean if that’s the only factor they think we could possibly use for our reasoning it seems they are really the ones who are focused on race.

Yes! I think that must be it! Obama supporters are all racists! They are only voting for him because he’s black! I mean if we are, as they claim, voting on race lines then they must be too! That must be how they know because it takes one to know one right? I mean I’m reasonably sure, make that positive, that they can’t read our minds to actually discern this reasoning.

It’s often said that people hate and go after in others the very thing they dislike about themselves.

Alright I guess that’s enough sarcasm and faulty thinking for one post! Hopefully it illuminates the stupidity and wrong thinking that makes people jump to conclusions without facts to back them up. IE: if you cannot read a person’s mind and see clearly the reasoning and opinions behind their decisions then don’t make judgements based on your own lack of knowledge or your own faulty opinions. Also if they blog or speak out about their decisions and reasoning perhaps you should actually see what they have to say before concluding it is based on race.

Obama supporters I ask you is your vote based on race? Is it or would it be fair to you to assume that it is? Can you not see the faulty logic there?

The fact is that some people will not vote for him based on race and some people will vote for him for the same reason. I don’t believe for a minute that every voter bases decisions on that. Those that do, wrong as they are, do have a right to vote for or against whoever they want for whatever reason. It’s called the right to vote. It is constitutionally protected.  I don’t like racism or any isms. I don’t have a right to legislate people’s decisions in the voting booth though and neither do The Golden Idiot and his cult-followers. It’s personal choice and as such many personal opinions go into each individual vote. Not legislateable. Also it’s no body’s business unless the voter in question chooses to make it known.

Don’t get me wrong here. I am NOT sticking up for racists on either side of this debate (yes there is racism on BOTH sides). I am simply pointing out that should they chose to vote according to those kinds of narrow minded guidelines they are within their rights to do so. Obama and his supporters have no right to challenge why they vote as they do. Nor do they have a right to challenge why I will not vote for him let alone ignore the reasons I give and replace them with the standard, pat charge of racism.

It is this Thug Mentality that makes me even more determined to keep this arrogant, narcissistic Marxist out of office. He has already joined Dick Cheney and George W Bush in their quest to destroy our civil liberties and assault on our Constitution and according to some of his most ardent supporters we “will all pay a heavy price for daring to speak against Obama”. What’s next? Thought police? The bots already think they can tell what we are thinking next they will try to control our thought processes with mass hypnosis (commonly known as the Kool-Ade)!

I don’t drink Kool-Ade. Thanks but no thanks!
